Most venues and function suites have basic functional lighting - provided by downlights or fluorescent fixtures. These are intended for meetings and such like but aren't ideal for your special occasion - such as corporate events, parties and weddings.
From 2016, I will no longer be based in Glasgow. If you have lighting requirements locally I would suggest you contact The Stage Group, based in East Kilbride, who will be able to assist.
Carefully considered lighting can add atmosphere and improve the ambience of almost any space by adding a splash of colour, texture, or highlighting features of the building (columns, arches) or event (tables, bar areas, band etc)
If you're planning a corporate event, you may like to consider custom 'gobo' projection allowing you to project your company brand on the walls, floor or even the side of your buildings
Many kinds of events can benefit from creative lighting - and custom gobos can also be used to good effect as a modern take on the traditional monogram, for example at weddings.
